The RepoCover source is offered under the MIT License. The license text controls your rights to use, copy, modify, merge, publish, distribute, sublicense, or sell copies of the software.
Your responsibility
You are responsible for having permission to inspect repository content and to publish any generated image. Review each cover for confidential information, third-party assets, trademarks, factual claims, and visual errors before uploading or sharing it.
No automatic authorization
Generating an image does not authorize README edits, repository uploads, or changes to GitHub settings. Those actions require a separate request and the necessary account permissions.
No warranty
RepoCover is provided without warranty, as described by the MIT License. Mechanical checks can verify dimensions and file size; they cannot guarantee taste, accuracy, fitness for a particular purpose, or third-party platform behavior.

RepoCover is independent and is not affiliated with or endorsed by GitHub, Inc. GitHub is a trademark of GitHub, Inc. Codex and other third-party services are governed by their respective terms.
